A research-backed, functional approach to postpartum recovery, nutrition, and hormone balancing—designed for holistic coaches, healthcare professionals, and postpartum doulas who are ready to transform maternal wellness and help women optimize recovery
Motherhood is meant to be a time of healing, yet too many women are left struggling—exhausted, anxious, unseen, and unheard.
🔹 They’re told their fatigue, brain fog, and mood swings are just part of being a new mom.
🔹 They’re handed medications instead of solutions when they express emotional struggles.
🔹 They’re dismissed when they say something feels off with their hormones, metabolism, or digestion.
The truth? Most postpartum complications are preventable— but the conventional model doesn’t offer the tools to address them.
🚨 1 in 7 mothers are diagnosed with postpartum depression, but many more experience unrecognized hormonal imbalances, anxiety, and depletion that impact their well-being. This, in turn, directly impacts their children's future and their family's well-being.
🚨 50% of postpartum women develop thyroid dysfunction within a year of giving birth, yet standard postpartum visits rarely include full thyroid screening.
🚨 1 in 3 women struggle with postpartum metabolic dysfunction, increasing their risk for obesity, diabetes, and autoimmune conditions later in life.
🚨90% of postpartum women suffer from leaky gut syndrome due to pregnancy-related intestinal permeability, leading to nutrient malabsorption, chronic inflammation, food sensitivities, and long-term immune dysfunction.
🚨 Environmental toxins, gut dysbiosis, and micronutrient deficiencies are widespread in postpartum women, yet conventional care fails to address these root causes.
Most healthcare models focus only on the first six weeks after birth —a timeline that does not reflect the actual postpartum recovery process.
📉Standard postpartum visits are reactive, not proactive.
They check for immediate complications but don’t equip mothers with the tools to rebuild their bodies after pregnancy.
📉 Nutrition is an afterthought. Postpartum women are rarely counseled on how to replenish the deep nutrient stores depleted by pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding.
📉 Hormonal imbalances go undiagnosed. Postpartum hormone fluctuations aren’t monitored, leading to undiagnosed thyroid, adrenal, and metabolic dysfunction years down the line.
📉 No one is looking at the whole picture. Mental health struggles, digestive issues, and chronic fatigue are treated in isolation, without addressing the underlying physiological imbalances.
The ThriveMama MethodTM Pregnancy & Postpartum Integrative & Functional Medicine Certification was created to bridge this gap —to train practitioners and allied health professionals who want to do more than prescribe and reassure.
This program is built for postpartum professionals ready to:
✔️ Identify the root causes of postpartum depletion and metabolic dysfunction.
✔️ Use functional nutrition, targeted supplementation, and detoxification strategies to restore health and hormonal balance.
✔️ Address gut health, hormone fluctuations, and adrenal dysfunction holistically.
✔️ Help mothers feel energized, resilient, and truly well—long after childbirth.
Postpartum recovery doesn’t end at six weeks.
This is the education you didn’t get in traditional training—the missing piece that postpartum mothers desperately need.
